Today, I was with some members of the new.media ministry and Kidzone Church at Haven for Children at Alabang for a Christmas outreach. We were able to minister and spend time with boys who were found in the streets of Manila and are now in the care of this wonderful foundation.The aim is to rehabilitate. These kids are truly a blessing. Sometimes, when we go to these activities, we think about how we can minister. However, we didn't expect that they will also impact our lives. They are very respectful and endearing. We only spent a few hours with them but they touched our hearts in a special way that will go on till we die. No kidding.
We hope to return someday and not just Christmas time. The foolish things we do in life. Our kids get to suffer the consequences. But because of organizations like Haven for Children, they are given a new lease in life and a better future.
