TAKING A BREAK

I'm taking on a little break. It's been a very busy 2007 and a very stressful 1st quarter of 2008 and I believe that a break is in order.

I have some catching up to do. I have books that were bought or given that I haven't had the time to read. I have songs in my heart that I need to write and put into music. I have thoughts that I need to put in writing (or typing since I type faster than I write). I want to do more things. Not to mention, get back to the gym and get my 6-pack abs (which has been a goal since January 2008). Not only that, I can go back to blogging again. Now, I have these to look forward to in the next few months.

I want to thank my wife and son for the support they have given me this time. Also, to my friends who continue to encourage me and help me go through some of my toughest times to date. Thank you for still believing in me.

For now, it is time to recharge, reflect and renew myself. When I return, it will be better than ever.

TAKING A BREAK

Hi folks.

I'll be with my family going to Tagaytay today for a well-deserved break. "Well deserved" because my family has somehow been at the sidelines due to busyness in ministry. I've been very busy these past months with new.media and Kidzone Church. I haven't had a real relaxing time with Aida and Rafa. Hopefully today, I get some much needed R&R.

This goes out to all of us: Let's have a time to just relax and take a break. Just like a cellphone which goes through so much texting, calls and the occasional (or often for some of us) photo "friendster" shots (you know who you are), its batteries' drain and needs to be recharged. If an inanimate object needs recharging, so do we. Take a break folks. Believe me. You need one.

WORKING ON MY WEBSITE

In the next few weeks, I will be working on this website. It hasn't been much of an eye-candy but it's a work in progress.

I think with my upcoming vacation, I will be able to redesign or improve the look of the site. There are things that I will be putting here. Hopefully, it can be appreciated by everyone who visits the site. I am really pursuing something BIG this year and I hope I can log it in this website. I'm hoping that this site can encourage people to live life and also become a source of encouragement.

This website extends my reach to you and to everyone on the planet. In a couple of months, I am sure God will unfold the direction he has for me this year. It's exciting and challenging but I'm up to it.

I've been speaking to some people about extensively using multimedia and technology to widen my audience. Hopefully, this will all happen in three-to-six months time.
