CREEPING BACK

After a long hiatus, I am slowly creeping back to the rodneygarcia.com website. Somehow, I have found the inspiration to write again and bring back the passion to blog. Maybe it's because I've been exposing myself to writing. Perhaps, it could be that the books I read push me to be better. Whatever the reason may be, I am training myself to return to blogging.

I am making the site template more delectable to my taste. I hope it will appeal to you too.

More updates soon. Until then, God bless!

RODNEYGARCIA.COM IS ON IT'S WAY

Hello folks!

If you have noticed, RODNEYGARCIA.COM is somehow in the maintenance mode. Yes it is!

I am currently preparing the new phase of the website and it's going well so far. I'm almost done with the new template which is hopefully easy to navigate for all of you. Afterwards, I'll be creating the content such as the podcasts and the videos.

Please do pray for me because I believe this is a major step in my personal life and ministry.

I'll keep you guys updated. For now, please visit IWANNATALKABOUT.COM as well.

Thanks! God bless.

I HAVE FINISHED THE EXAM. WHAT'S NEXT?

Hello folks!

I woke up at 5:30am, did my personal duties, went to Cavite and took the test. We were given 1 1/2 hours to finish 300 test questions about God, the church's history and other stuff. It was a mixture of multiple choice and matching type (letters).

I prepared hard for this exam. I tried memorizing, remembering and figuring out all the items that could appear on the test. Some of them appeared. Others were new to me.

Was I satisfied? Yes because I gave my all to this exam. Will I pass? I hope so. I will know the results by Thursday so please continue praying for me.

Now, I can move forward. I have some projects coming soon especially the new RODNEYGARCIA.COM.

Thanks and God bless!

BUSY SUNDAY

It was a busy Sunday for me and my family. We went to church and did some family stuff at the mall.

Also, I started on making the new template for the WWCF church website. Frankly, it's one of the best templates I've done so far. I've done a lot these past few years and this one is the bomb.

I woke up today around 10am and I'm still working on the site. I want this done as soon as possible. I'm doing it offsite. But once it's uploaded on the website, I'll be making changes online. Hopefully, it doesn't take long.

Have fun, you guys! God bless.

THE NEW WEBSITE

Hello Internet!

It's day three of the I WANNA TALK ABOUT website which is all about..well.. anything. I'm happy about it.

The concept is simple. You go to the website and read the post for the day. Then, react by typing in your comments. Share your insights or maybe an experience or two. Hopefully, we can get an conversation going on.

And I'm happy there are people visiting the site. Unfortunately, I was hoping that people can leave a message. Maybe you're the first one to do so.

Anyway, I'm hoping this site can really move forward.

Thanks for reading and don't forget to visit I WANNA TALK ABOUT... website.

Until then, God bless!

TNW SERMON AND OTHER THOUGHTS

TNW was awesome. The Lord spoke to a lot of people. All praise and honor be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. I cannot take credit for what has transpired during THURSDAY NIGHT WORSHIP (TNW) at WORD FOR THE WORLD CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP. The message was very simple and encouraging that I, myself, was encouraged. Indeed, all of us go through trials of many kinds (and Yes even pastors). But we need to hold on to Jesus and rely on his power and strength.

If you were there at the sanctuary, thank you for taking the time to listen and minister to you. We all need to hear something uplifting from the Lord. Whether it be in the pulpit, with a group of people, on the podcast or on the internet, I will do what I can to encourage people. I take every opportunity given to me seriously.

I have to always check my heart with every thing I do. Sometimes, people can misinterpret me. It's not me that's important but the message that I bring. I believe this is my way of ministering to you beyond the walls of the church - through this website. A pastor must find different ways to minister and this is one way I know how. If I can encourage you today with what I write, then this website has fulfilled it purpose.

Thank you all for your support and prayers. Again, it's not about me but it's all about HIM.

Until then, God bless.

NEW TEMPLATE

If you are reading this and you see the time and date (especially the time), it's true. It's almost 3am.

I have decided to do something with the website's template. I was not really happy with the default templates offered by Blogger. I'm sure my site looks like countless others who chose the previous template. But with a little creativity and lots of reading, I was able to produce a simple yet elegant template.

Mind you, it's not finished yet. But I'll be putting more stuff on this site this week.

Also, I'll be launching my Yahoo! Group. Hopefully, this will be a great venue for me to minister to people online.

Gotta catch some sleep. I'll be driving in three hours.

Until then, God bless!

WORKING ON MY WEBSITE

In the next few weeks, I will be working on this website. It hasn't been much of an eye-candy but it's a work in progress.

I think with my upcoming vacation, I will be able to redesign or improve the look of the site. There are things that I will be putting here. Hopefully, it can be appreciated by everyone who visits the site. I am really pursuing something BIG this year and I hope I can log it in this website. I'm hoping that this site can encourage people to live life and also become a source of encouragement.

This website extends my reach to you and to everyone on the planet. In a couple of months, I am sure God will unfold the direction he has for me this year. It's exciting and challenging but I'm up to it.

I've been speaking to some people about extensively using multimedia and technology to widen my audience. Hopefully, this will all happen in three-to-six months time.

That's it for now.

Until then, God bless you.

A GREAT SUNDAY AND AN IMPROVED BLOG SITE

I'd like to say that I've had a great Sunday. Starting with a wonderful 8AM service, Bro. Louie Barretto preached a wonderful sermon. It seems that he's getting better every time. Kudos to my brother!

Afterwards, we had Rafa's birthday invitation printed out. We also had our family picture taken. I'll have it posted here hopefully by tomorrow.

I had a good afternoon's rest (after watching STAR WARS III - REVENGE OF THE SITH).

Aida cooked Yang Chow rice (I think that's how its spelled). I had our laundry done upstairs. Now, I'm typing and having some ME time (alone time).

Also, I'm happy that this blog is getting better and better. If you noticed, I've been adding some little portions here and there like my wish list, my plans for the year and others. I'm also planning to purchase my own domain name soon.

Thought I think I owe my online project some entries. I'll be logging in there after I make my blog entries here.

I'll be posting another entry here regarding my renewed fascination (and interest) in the Mac.

Until then.

READY FOR TNW

Just got home from a meeting with the TNW workers. We just discussed what will happen at the State of the TNW address. I'm excited to share the plans for TNW for the next weeks. We're praying that the congregation will be excited as well.

The internet was so slow today. I hardly got anything done. But looks like the speed will pick up by tomorrow. Hopefully, I'll get to edit the website as well. And I'm on the lookout for a new design for the WWCF website. Stay tuned.

I'm famished. Time to sleep. Until next post.

God bless.
